People are being warned today of the dangers of a consignment of meat stolen in Dublin.
820 kilos of beef, that's the weight of ten average-sized men, has been stolen from a Dublin wholesalers and the Food Safety Authority of Ireland has been out warning folk of the health risks of buying meat from unapproved sources.
The consignment - which included prime cuts, rolled rib of beef and knuckle - could be in a bad condition if it hasn't been properly refrigerated during the warm weather.
The FSAI reminding food businesses of their legal obligation only to purchase meat from approved sources, having checked all appropriate documentation.
So try not to buy meat from strange men calling at your door, it might not be as good an idea as it first seems.
