There was a meteor shower over Ireland last night? If you missed it, don’t worry, this amazing picture is all you need to see.
We don’t get meteor showers in Ireland that often, so plenty of people probably thought that their eyes were deceiving them or they had a few too many when they saw a series of flashing lights in the sky above Ireland last night.
It was no illusion, however, as many people bore witness to the spectacular shower, including Damien Stenson, who took this spectacular photograph at the Cliffs of Moher last night and was kind enough to send it into us on Facebook.

The image itself is simply breathtaking and no matter how widespread the shower was internationally, you’d do well to come across an image as stunning as the one Damien caught, one he described himself as a “once-in-a-lifetime picture”.
Awesome stuff.
Big thanks to Damien Stenson for sending this into us and to see more of Damien’s work, check out his Facebook page.
