Gallery: 17 brand new images from inside the White House on September 11, 2001

The pictures have just been released by the U.S. National Archives

Brand new photos of the White House in the immediate aftermath of the September 11th, 2001 terror attacks have been released by the U.S. National Archive.

The collection comes from the Vice Presidential Records of the Photography Office, and show President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, their families and the White House on the darkest day in the history of the United States.
