Good news for Luas users, the Red Line has resumed full service

This may save some walking.

Full service on the Luas Red Line has resumed today following its closure to facilitate the Luas Cross City works. The Luas had been stopping its service at Jervis, and a temporary bus service had been running between the stops on Abbey Street to the Point. The tram service is now fully operational from Tallaght and Saggart to the Point. The Luas Cross City service will connect the Red and Green Luas lines and is expected to be operational by the end of 2017. It should make travelling around Dublin much more convenient.
