Great news as PwC are set to create 500 more jobs in Ireland in 2016

Accountant firm PricewaterhouseCoopers are to create 500 jobs in Ireland over the next 12 months.

According to The Irish Times, those targeted will be a mixture of experienced professionals and recent graduates, with the company focusing on areas such as; data analytics, cybersecurity, international tax, technology, fund administration, assurance, risk management, digital and financial services.

PwC Ireland Managing Director Feargal O’Rourke has explained the decision, saying;

“We’re trying to capitalise on the significant number of Irish people looking to come home.”

The news follows on from a number of similar job announcements of late, pointing Ireland in the right direction towards economic recovery.
