It's obvious why Fox are branching out into this previously 'untapped' market, the desire for the beer is there and who doesn't want to say that they've tried a pint of Duff beer?
The brew is being described by the president of the company's consumer product division as "a very good balance of flavour and refreshment to it. It’s fairly deep golden in color. It’s got a hint of fruit to it. It’s got a caramel aromatic to it."
Duff will first be sold in Chile, ground zero for the counterfeit versions of the drink, but plans are in place to bring the product to Europe from next year.
Rumours of plans to bring the original Duffman out of retirement to promote the beer are yet to be confirmed just yet, but we can always dream.
Hat tip to the Wall Street Journal.
