Nigel Farage has stepped down as leader of UKIP following last month's vote for Britain to leave the European Union. The controversial politician has now resigned from the party on three different occasions but he has said that today's decision to leave is definite having achieved his political ambition.
Farage was instrumental in rallying support for the 'Leave' campaign and his decision to resign at such an uncertain time for Britain's political future has been heavily criticised on Twitter.
