Pic: Cow-lossal; world’s tallest bovine is called Blosom and she stands at 6’4″

Holy cow, that's a big cow.

JOE

Holy cow, that’s a big cow.

It’s not every day you come across a tale of the world’s tallest cow but today is that day. The good folks at Guinness World Records have announced that a 13-year-old Friesian from the US, called Blosom, is officially the world’s tallest cow.

Measuring 6’4″ from hoof to shoulder, Blosom will appear in the 2016 Guinness book and you can see just how big Blosom is when you see this shot of her with owner Patty Hanson.

Unlike humans, who can take advantage of a few extra inches by getting stuff off the top of tall shelves or forging out a career in the NBA, we don’t really know if there is any benefit to being a tall cow but Blosom seems happy enough and at least you could probably milk her standing up, which is great news for our important, and large, milk maid readership.
