PIC: Woman affected by closure of Sligo hotel says over 100 couples won’t have deposits refunded

Sad news for all the couples affected.

A woman who was due to get married in the Cromleach Lodge Hotel in Sligo has claimed that over 100 couples will not have their wedding deposits refunded after the hotel was closed with immediate effect yesterday. The four-star hotel in Castlebaldwin in Sligo, was forced to cease trading after a meeting with Revenue Officials yesterday. As a result, numerous couples who had booked their wedding in the hotel have been left in limbo and a woman whose wedding has been affected by the closure took to Facebook to express her disbelief, shock and anger at what has happened. JOE has reached out to Cromleach Lodge for comment and is still awaiting a response.
