PICS: The UK press absolutely went to town with their front pages following Brexit ruling

Homenews

Really?

Following yesterday's landmark high court ruling that any exit from the EU will require parliament approval, it was always going to be a field day for some of the front pages of the UK press. And they didn't disappoint with a suitable overreaction to the news... The Daily Mail Screen Shot 2016-11-04 at 10.07.32 The Daily Express Screen Shot 2016-11-04 at 10.07.30 The opening paragraphs of this front page reads as follows:
"Today this country faces a crisis as grave as anything since the dark days when Churchill vowed we would fight them on the beaches. "But this time the battle is in the courts and in Parliament - and it is vital that each of us makes our voices heard. "How we celebrated when the country voted to leave the EU. How we cheered when the Prime Minister stated categorically; 'Brexit means Brexit.' How we smiled when the Remain camp's Project Fear was exposed as a tissue of lies."
