Met Eireann has issued a yellow wind warning today and they've also asked people in western counties to brace themselves for heavy rainfall over the next few days.
People in Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Clare, Cork and Kerry can expect winds of 60-80km/h and the warning will remain in place until 1pm today.
