We thought the ‘Gar’, Mullingar’s tribute to its home-town hero John Joe Nevin was good. Is this Katie Taylor £20 even better?
While we still, just about, cling onto the dear old Euro, a thriving business has cropped up in designing new currency. Mullingar launched the ‘Gar’ yesterday, a fantastic tenner with Olympic silver medallist John Joe Nevin on it.
Inspired by that, the appropriately named @anpuntnua decided to put together a £20 note with Katie Taylor on it.

We think it looks great, so if we ever ask to leave/get kicked out the Euro, we should definitely use this design.
