It’s lovely out, we’re doing well in the boxing and if you want to make this Friday even better, watch Sepp Blatter getting booed by 80,000 people at the Olympics.
We hardly need to go into the reasons why, but suffice it to say Old Sepp wouldn’t be the most popular of chaps in the sporting world and how he has remained as one of the most powerful men in football for so long is as baffling as that Higgs Boson thing that was in the news a few weeks back.
Anyway, Blatter was in London as a guest at the Women’s Olympic Football Final between USA and Japan at Wembley last night and the carnival-like atmosphere turned a little caustic when Blatter was introduced to the crowd before the game.
We knew Blatter wasn’t the most popular of characters before last night, but just how universal the dislike for the Swiss native is will become apparent if you skip ahead to about three minutes into the clip above.
Maybe they were just all saying Boo-Urns.
