VIDEO: Check out the astonishing moment that a plane was struck by a bolt of lightning

This YouTuber was videoing footage of a rainstorm to show to his wife when he inadvertently captured the moment that a lightning bolt zapped a Delta Airlines plane in Atlanta, Georgia. A few seconds into the video there's a classic, apocalypse-movie flash of lighting straight to the tail-end of the Boeing 737. What's most important is that planes like this one are designed to withstand being struck by lightning, and none of the passengers were injured.
