Ireland’s top drawer Paralympics team is being highlighted in a great new YouTube video by Paralympics Ireland.
Fresh from a great Olympics for Team Ireland, its Ireland’s Paralympians time to perform in London as the Paralympics kicks off on the 29th August goes on until the 9th September.
Ireland performed really well four years ago with Jason Smyth taking home two golds and Michael McKillop another.
This time around Ireland are hoping they may be able to repeat their success of four years ago with World Champion Mark Rohan in the handcycling also expected to be in medal contention
The Paralympics occur every four years for elite athletes who have a physical disability.
Paralympics Ireland has released this pretty inspirational video of some of Ireland’s 49-strong squad in preparation for the games.
JOE will be following and cheering on Team Ireland to hopefully more gold medals in the next few weeks.
