VIDEO: The cavalcade of cars on the Healy-Rae victory tour in Kerry was something else

Like something you’d see after a big Championship win.

This weekend was a memorable one for the famous Healy-Rae family in Kerry, as Independent candidates Michael and Danny Healy-Rae both secured a Dáil seat, becoming the first siblings to represent the same constituency at the same time. Both Healy-Rae brothers celebrated their victory in style, going on a tour of the county to meet and greet the people who voted for them and finishing up in their homeland of Kilgarvan and Kenmare. As you can see in the video from the Crown Bar and Restaurant in Castleisland, they brought quite the crowd with them too. There’ll be a few sore heads in Kilgarvan this morning, no doubt.
