In the wake of the
Brock Turner case, many are discussing the differences in the way the mainstream media portray white people and black people when they are involved in a crime as either the perpetrator or the victim.
The disparity in how black people and white people portrayed is, of course, not solely confined to the media - as one Twitter user discovered when trawling through the Google image search results for 'three black teenagers' and 'three white teenagers'.
The short video highlighting this difference has gathered over 50,000 retweets in the two days since it was published.

The search results for black teenagers show mugshots, whereas the results for white teenagers show happy-looking kids with footballs.
@iBeKabit has gone on to retweet similar Google results that seem to show a very obvious and disturbing racial bias.
