The Perth-based newspaper's front page today gives you some idea of the logistical difficulties the Australian authorities are having in their bid to locate Flight MH370. After a small bit of debris, which may or may not be from the missing plane, was spotted 5,000km from the last known location of the plane, a search party was launched to find it. The spot, almost 2,350km from Perth, is about as remote as places get on the globe and the item they are looking for was estimated to be just 24metres long. It is taking planes four hours just to get to the 9,000 square mile site before they can even begin searching and the latest reports from Australia suggest that the item spotted on satellite imagery may have sunk from view by now. Add in bad weather and poor visibility in the area and the search is one of the most difficult imaginable. Sadly, two weeks on from the disappearance of Flight MH370, we are still none the wiser as to what happened to it and the 239 people on board.
