The Obamas have a cunning way to stop their kids from wanting tattoos and it involves getting a few themselves.
You’re probably going to have kids some day, so what are you to do when your daughter wants to get a tramp stamp just above her arse? You get one too and show it off to the rest of the world as a ‘family tattoo’ on YouTube. Genius...
That’s the logic that the President of the United States and his First Lady are using when it comes to their two daughters and tattoos.
Speaking on NBC’s Today show, President Obama said, "What we've said to the girls is, 'If you guys ever decide you're going to get a tattoo, then mommy and me will get the exact same tattoo, in the same place, and we'll go on YouTube and show it off as a family tattoo'.
"Our thinking is that might dissuade them from thinking that somehow that's a good way to rebel."
Well done Obama. In fairness, he’s not the President of ‘Merica for nothing...
