Video: Sneaky shark tries to steal man’s fish

One flukey fisherman almost had his dinner stolen after coming up against one of the ocean’s greatest predators...

"There's a shark in the water! And it's trying to steal my dinner!"

This is undoubtedly what Hawaiian fisherman Isaac Brumaghim was thinking as he was out on one of his regular kayak fishing trips this week.

As he was reeling in his catch of the day, he had a bit of unexpected competition from 'Chompy' the tiger shark who broke the water beside him and attempted to steal his fish right off the line.

After inevitably ‘kayaking’ his pants, Isaac lets out some well-earned expletives as he realises what has just happened:

Luckily he was able to catch the whole incident on video so that his friends back on shore would have to believe him this time – “it was THIS big, I swear!”... Sure is was Isaac, sure it was.
