Three blokes were apprehended by the mutaween in Saudi Arabia recently for being "too handsome" and for being a threat to Saudi women... seriously.
If you think it’s hard to get laid then you have to spare a thought for these poor lads who were arrested for being too good looking in Saudi Arabia recently.
According to reports, the men, who are from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), were minding their own business at the annual Jenadrivah Heritage & Cultural Festival in Saudi Arabia when the mutaween - Saudi Arabia’s religious police - “stormed” the pavilion where the event was taking place and removed the handsome devils by force.
"A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission [for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices] members feared female visitors could fall for them," the Arabic-language newspaper Elaph reported earlier this week.
The Emiratis were then deported back to their home country...
Tough break. So the next time you strike out in Coppers, just think of these poor guys who can’t get past border control because they’re too bloody gorgeous.
