It’s not just Ireland that is experiencing ridiculously strong winds at the moment, people are literally being blown to the floor in the Netherlands such is the strength of the breeze over there.
It’s been a while since Ireland has experienced winds as strong as what’s hit the country in the last few days and if you happened to come across the video of a Ryanair plane struggling to land in Leeds/Bradford airport this morning, you’ll know that it’s not just us being affected.
Further east in the Netherlands, they’re getting it as bad, if not worse, if this video which surfaced on Reddit overnight is anything to go by.
From what we can gather, the video was filmed near the University of Technology in the city of Delft, where students didn’t dare try and cycle their bicycles for fear of being blown wildly off course by the strong winds which can be heard clearly in the background.
As you’ll see above, one poor student was blown to the floor while walking with a bicycle while several others struggled to keep their own bikes and themselves upright in the face of a gale force breeze.
If this doesn’t stop soon we’ll all end up in Oz next lads.
