Hats off to the marketing folks at Cuisine de France for this fine bit of work in Dublin.
It’s so simple we don’t know how nobody never thought of it before. If you want to sell baguettes, go to the Dublin street whose name sounds a bit like a baguette.
In fairness to the Cuisine de France folk, not only did they think of the pun, they made a poster (with Baguette Street written on it), stuck it on Baggot Street (see what the did there) and then made a giant baguette to go on top of the bus shelter, just in case you missed it. If your going to make a joke, you may as well go big.
