We knew that the Gardai had to work within new budget constraints, but this seems a bit ridiculous

This picture has given us quite a lift (sorry) in the JOE offices today after we got a look at one poor Garda driving a forklift around the Dublin streets.
We're not too sure when this picture is from, nor why he's driving the forking thing, but we hope that it's not to do with cutbacks, surely they could at least get the lad a bike.

He'll need a bit of a pick-me-up when he gets back to the station, as the lads will probably be giving him a slagging that he might find un-pallet-able. Still, he can just tell them to fork off.
