Pic of the Day: Bray from above

This is probably going to be the best picture of Bray you’ll ever see.

The picture comes courtesy of Michael MacSuibhne (@MicMacSuibh) who was filming the Black Knights Parachute team as they skydived above Bray in Wicklow at 4,000feet.

The Black Knights aren’t anything to do with Batman, but they are the elite parachute team of the Irish defence forces.

Aer Lingus, the Air Corps, the Coastguard and army parachutists were all taking part in an event over Bray that also featured displays in rescues.

The Black Knights as well as having the coolest name of any team in Ireland compete as the Irish national team in international parachuting competitions and raise money for charity.

They have also now managed to find a view of Bray that looks scenic.
