Of all the footballers in the Premier League, only Mario Balotelli would contemplate driving a luxury car covered in camouflage paint. Yes, you heard us.
Throughout his short time in England, the Italian striker has always stood out from the crowd having been the centre of a series of some bizarre, some hilarious and some downright stupid incidents and if his latest stunt is an effort to blend in with everyone else, then it hasn’t quite worked out we’re afraid.
As you can see in the picture below, Balotelli turned up for training recently in a £160,000 Bentley Continental GT and while we’re a fan of the car, we can’t say we’re too taken with the army camouflage vinyl wrap.

If the Manchester City players all parked their cars in a forest and Balotelli was seeking anonymity it would be one thing, but the colour of the car - ironically, considering it was camouflage - ensured that it was the subject of even greater attention as his fellow players and Man City staff gathered around to have a look, which is probably what Mario was hoping for in the first place.
Given their history, it seems likely that Mario and Roberto Mancini will go to war on the training ground between now and end of the season and with that in mind, it seems rather apt that this is the vehicle he’ll be driving into battle.
Hat-tip to Gavin Spencer for making us aware of this one.
