Donegal might have Frankie Boyle on their side, but another big-time celebrity comedian has revealed his allegiances to the Green and Red for the All-Ireland Final tomorrow.
Dara was doing a gig in the TF Royal Theatre in Castlebar last night and it was inevitable that he was going to end up being photographed with a Mayo jersey or some other form of Green and Red paraphernalia before the night was out.

Being a comedian, it would have been easy for Wicklow native Dara to poke fun at the 61-year All-Ireland famine in the county or tease the natives about their terrible record in finals in the last 25 years or so, but instead he was a good sport, donned a red and green scarf on stage and wished James Horan’s men the best against Donegal tomorrow.
Of course, he could have been afraid he wouldn’t have got out of the place alive if he didn’t publicly endorse his support for the Mayo men tomorrow, but we’re sure his support is genuine and not just a publicity stunt.
So it’s Frankie Boyle for Donegal and Dara O’Briain for Mayo tomorrow. Who’ll have the last laugh?
Thanks to Ger Duffy for sending us in the pic.
