It’s the kind of thing you might see on Police Squad or Police Academy, but the police in Poland have actually released the below photofit in a bid to catch a bank robber.

The wanted man nicked 10 grand from a bureau de change and this is the best the Polish coppers could do. The Sun carry quotes from police spokesman Tomasz Stawarski. "We haven’t excelled ourselves this time,” he said, in very understated fashion.
“The robber kept his mask on all the time so our artist didn’t have anything to go on apart from the colour of his eyes,” he added.
Not only did they release a pretty rubbish photofit, they also named the only witness in the case, a person they had promised anonymity to, forcoing them into police protection.
About as bad a day at the office as it gets, we think.
