On a Bank Holiday weekend in particular, vigilance on the road is crucial but especially so in West Clare where it appears as if there are dangerous fridges on the loose.
Or one dangerous fridge at least. A bit like the beast that was on the loose around that neck of the woods in the famous Father Ted episode a few years back, they say that the fridge spits cubes of lethal ice at anyone that dares to go near it, that it has magnets on its door, so if you're made out of metal, it can attach itself to you and that it has a tremendous fear of stamps.

Or, it could be that this sign that looks as if it is warning against the threat of a dangerous fridge is just a sign for a dangerous bridge, with parts of the B deliberately worn off to provide a source of amusement for passing motorists.
Either way, be careful just in case.
