Lions Pic of the Day: Most of the Lions squad play for their countries, Paulie plays for Munster

We don’t need any confirmation that Paul O’Connell is different to most rugby players, but The Irish Times gave it to us none the less.

Captain in 2009 and one of the senior leaders in the squad this time around in Australia, he has been chosen to start against the New South Wales Waratahs tomorrow in what might be his final run-out before the opening Test against the Wallabies, where most would expect the second-row to be given a starting jersey. The Times named the starting XV, with the countries listed beside each player taking to the field tomorrow. All except our very own Paul O’Connell.
