If anything epitomises the Munster performance at the Stoop today, it is this shuddering tackle by James Downey on Harlequins’ Mike Brown. What. A. Hit.
Against the odds, Munster have delivered the type of battling performance they are renowned for at the Stoop with big players like Paul O’Connell, Ronan O’Gara and Peter O’Mahony all stepping up to the plate in their province’s hour of need.
Everybody in a red jersey is putting in a shift for the cause, however, and that was epitomised by a monstrous hit by James Downey on Mike Brown, which Sky ccommentator Miles Harrison described as “the quickest building of a wall ever”.
