Normally an opposing side missing a big player is good news but not in this case as we hope it all works out well for South Africa’s Tendai "The Beast" Mtawarira after a heart scare.
South Africa have been forced into a rejig of their front row ahead of the big game against Ireland at Aviva Stadium last night.
The man the call The Beast, Tendai Mtawarira, has been withdrawn from the team after suffering heart palpitations according to news sources in South Africa.
The 27-year-old is feared and respected as one of the strongest players in world rugby and we hope that his heart scare is nothing too serious and that The Beast is back on the field soon.
Regarding the game, CJ van der Linde, who was named on the bench, will now step into the number one shirt, while Leinster’s Heinke van der Merwe will move up to the replacements.
Get well soon, big guy.
