Having made a winning start to his competitive Munster career on Saturday, Rob Penney has kept changes to a minimum for the Treviso clash this weekend.
Following the opening day victory over Edinburgh at Murrayfield, out go BJ Botha in the front row and Paddy Butler in the back row, with Stephen Archer and Dave O’Callaghan coming into the starting XV in their stead.
Botha and Butler will both be available for Penney to use off the bench as the new coach continues to evaluate the depth in the Munster squad in the absence of Irish internationals such as Paul O’Connell, Keith Earls, Peter O’Mahony and Ronan O’Gara.
Munster take on Treviso in Thomond Park on Friday at 8pm.
Munster: Denis Hurley; Doug Howlett (Captain), Casey Laulala, James Downey, Luke O’Dea; Ian Keatley, Duncan Williams; Wian du Preez, Damien Varley, Stephen Archer; Donncha O’Callaghan, Billy Holland; Dave O'Callaghan, Sean Dougall, James Coughlan.
Replacements: Mike Sherry, Dave Kilcoyne, BJ Botha, Dave Foley, Paddy Butler, Peter Stringer, Scott Deasy, Ivan Dineen.
