Andrew Conway delivered an exhibition of try-scoring for Leinster this evening which must have made for mixed emotions amongst the home support considering he’ll be playing for Munster next season.
Conway scored a hat-trick of tries in Leinster’s 37-19 victory over Ospreys at the RDS, a win that wraps up a home semi-final for the Blues against Glasgow Warriors next weekend.
The winger showed a lovely turn of foot to capitalise on a mistake by the Ospreys defence for his first try in the first half…
… and he had a simple finish for his second after a good break by scrum half Luke McGrath before half-time.
The third was the best of the lot as Conway chipped over the Ospreys cover and showed an unbelievable turn of foot to get a hold of the ball after it seemed to take an age to fall into his hands and then touched down in the corner to round off the hat-trick.
Any chance Leinster might be trying to reverse that proposed switch to Munster before the end of the season?
