It’s not too late for a 2012 look back, right? Good, because this video of the best tries of 2012 is fantastic.

Compiled by Sky Sports, this epic video breaks down the best tries of the year into various catagories. It begins with the 10 best from the Aviva Premiership (skip to 1.45 in the video).

It follows that up with the 10 best from the Heineken and Challenge Cup (skip to 6.25), and two Irish players take the top two slots.

They then move to their top 10 from the southern hemisphere (skip to 12.20). All of these, as you might imagine, are spectacular.

They wrap up with their top 10 international tries (skip to 17.00). As you can imagine, it is fairly All-Black centric.

All in all you get 40 amazing tries in this clip and it is a very, very enjoyable way to pass 20 minutes on a Saturday afternoon.
