Irish prop Cian Healy has announced on Twitter he is giving away his prized World Cup 2011 boots.
Healy was Man of the Match as Ireland beat Australia in their famous Pool match in the last World Cup and has announced on Twitter that he’s going to give away the boots he played that famous match in.
Writing on his Twitter handle @ProperChurch:
“gonna give away my boots from the world cup, dunno how yet.... stay tuned . bit dirty but at least it's genuine!!”
That was the most recent highlight of Healy’s international career as following their quarter-final exit Ireland had a disappointing Six Nations campaign.
At provincial level though Healy was at his dynamic best helping to secure back-to-back Heineken Cups for Leinster.
Healy later tweeted that the beneficiaries of his donation would be Girls Club Cork who are a voluntary support group for women who have had cancer:
“ok, so world cup boots and one of my jerseys, online auction... I will post pics in a bit! money goes to @girlsclubcork”

Healy's prized boots.
