Leinster facing injury crisis ahead of Munster showdown

01/10/2012 3:49 pm

Leinster face an injury crisis ahead of their crunch show down with Munster in Saturday’s RaboDirect Pro 12 match at the Aviva Stadium.

Head coach Joe Schmidt today said that Rob Kearney and Gordan D'Arcy are both in jeopardy  for the game after suffering knocks during last Friday's defeat to Connacht.

Isaac Boss remains out through injury, while Shane Jennings will be unable to train this week because of an ankle problem but Leinster are hoping he’ll pull through and be available for selection.

On the positive side, scrum-half Eoin Reddan is expected to return to action this weekend, while the big guns of Brian O'Driscoll, Jonathan Sexton and Jamie Heaslip are also likely to return.
