His famous hair may be gone, but Ian Madigan at least has the best named beer garden in Dublin carrying his name now...
Back in March, as Ian Madigan fever was beginning to reach its height, some clever soul came up with the idea to rename the RDS 'Madigan Square Garden'. It was a cracking idea and we liked it so much we even did a quick piece to publicise the Facebook campaign.
Despite our best efforts the RDS remains the RDS but a pub across the road spotted the gap in the market and dived right in.
So, from tomorrow May 31, you can enter the Horse Show House in Dublin’s Ballsbridge and stroll out to their newly named beer garden called 'Madigan Square Garden'. Genius.
With the weather as it is, it is perfect timing. And the best part is that the man himself, Leinster and Ireland’s Ian Madigan, likes it too. In response to a punter tweeting him the news the other day;

the versatile back said;

As soon as this pesky North America tour is over, we expect to see Madigan visiting the boozer to bask in his very own MSG.
