The Lions captaincy is one of those great debates. It has kept us amused for months now and, sadly, it will all be over soon. Over here we held out hopes that either Brian O’Driscoll, or Paul O’Connell, would get the gig but it seems that a certain Welsh man is going to get it.
Ladbrokes today closed their book on the selection after Sam Warburton went from 3/1 to 4/7 following a load of cash being punted on him and the bookies who still have the market open, like Paddy Power, have the Welsh man as odds-on now.
O’Driscoll and O’Connell are next on the market now but it seems Warren Gatland has made his mind up, if the punters are correct.
