While we have been looking at some of the best football shirts for this season today, Munster Rugby’s new away shirt is pretty tasty too.
Away kits, especially in rugby, have a tendency to head towards the garish, the bizarre and the downright awful. It seems the designers have to play it safe with the home shirt so they go a bit mad with the away version.
All that means we are pleased to report that Munster’s new away shirt, or alternate jersey as they like to call it, is actually really nice.
The ancient text known as Ogham is used in the shirt to spell out ‘Redness’, just so that the famous colour is never far away. Nice job adidas.
