The Lions are currently being put through their paces at Carton House this week and no one appears to be lacking in effort.
By Declan Whooley
The squad arrived in the plush surroundings in Kildare yesterday where they will reside until Friday. They will have a meal together on Sunday in London before jetting off to Hong Kong for the start of the tour with a clash against the Barbarians.
The lads are being put through their paces though the Irish contingent is low with Leinster and Ulster preparing to do battle in the Rabo final on Saturday. Paul O’Connell and Conor Murray have been in attendance and as ever, the photographers have concentrated their efforts on the former Lions captain.
We recently showed O’Connell showing off the guns during a recent Lions get-together and today he appeared to be showing Welsh flanker how he can improve and try and emulate the Munster man’s physique.

Here are a few other shots from Carton House today, from the cryotherapy chamber to various drills sessions.
