The tragic death of Ulster Rugby star Nevin Spence yesterday stunned the rugby world and stars of the game have been paying tribute on Twitter.

It is still hard to believe that Nevin Spence is no longer with us. The talented 22-year old died in a tragic incident at his family farm yesterday, an appalling incident that also claimed his father Noel and brother Graham. Nevin’s sister Emma was also injured in the tragedy and remains in hospital.

As news of Nevin's death filtered out, rugby stars around the world paid tribute on Twitter.

And it wasn’t just rugby stars who took to Twitter to pay their respects. Ulster Rugby’s biggest fan, Rory McIlroy, was also moved to mourn Nevin’s passing.

As we said earlier, all here at JOE are still in shock at the news and our hearts go out to the Spence family at this time.
