Video: All Black Rene Ranger levels yet another poor unfortunate with a brutal hit

We saw him flatten Aussie James O’Connor a few weeks back. Now Nic White has gotten the special Rene Ranger treatment.

Auckland Blues centre Rene Ranger is fast gaining a reputation as one of rugby’s fiercest tacklers. We showed you what he did to Wallaby James O’Connor, colliding with him with such force that O’Connor’s participation against the Lions is still in some doubt.

Nic White of the Brumbies wasn’t injured, but boy did he feel this hit from Ranger. The scrum-half decided to run back a kick against the Blues but he ran straight into Ranger, who didn’t seem to even try that hard on this hit and he still sent White flying.

If he keeps this up, an All Blacks recall can’t be too far off.
