Video: He's back! Watch Tommy Bowe's brilliant brace of Ulster tries last night
It didn’t take Tommy Bowe long to get comfortable in his new surroundings, did it? Great to see you back Tommy.
Mark Anscombe’s men maintained their magnificent 100 per cent start to the season with an absolute trouncing of Cardiff Blues in the Arms Park last night, with old boy Bowe marking his return to the red and white jersey in some style.
The Irish winger scored two tries on the night, the first arriving early in the second half after he was released by Jared Payne.
The second came only a few minutes later after brilliant work from Payne and Neil McComb in the build-up, but Bowe still had some work to do before touching down in the corner.
Payne, Nick Williams (2), Andrew Trimble and Mike Allen all got in on the act as Ulster put up seven tries in a comprehensive 29-point victory, a fitting tribute to the late Nevin Spence, who was remembered in a minute’s silence before the game and through the presence of his initials on the Ulster jerseys.
