Conor McGregor teases his big left field announcement coming after UFC 205

The rumours of what it is are circulating…

It’s been a few weeks since Dana White revealed that Conor McGregor would have a massive left-field announcement following UFC 205.

It’s been a busy week for the Dubliner having received a substantial fine for his role in the bottle-gate press conference prior to UFC 202, and the subsequent confusion over the actual sum of the fine.

While there’s already been a lot of trash talk between McGregor and his opponent Eddie Alvarez, in a recent interview with MMAJunkie, The Notorious wasn’t concentrating on his Philadelphia adversary. Instead, he was urging people to buy the PPV to hear his announcement.

“Buy the pay-per-view and stay tuned. Don’t blink. It’s going to be big,” McGregor said as he aims to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold two titles simultaneously.

McGregor is looking to make it two in a row in the promotion following his redemption in the rematch with Nate Diaz at UFC 202.

Rumours are still circulating about what the announcement after the fight will be, with reports ranging from McGregor stepping away from the fight game, to an attempt at a third title, to other more personal and family matters.

The only person that knows for sure is McGregor, and apparently Dana White, and The Notorious is not about to spill the beans early.

“It’s always positive with me,” McGregor said. “So all I’ll say is tune in.”

Maybe, it’s a fight with this man?
