It's been well documented that Torres is only the shadow of his former self and hasn't been the same player since joining Chelsea from Liverpool in a £50m move back in 2011. This move came following a hugely impressive stint at Liverpool (pic above) where he established himself as one of the greatest strikers in the world.
He is still idolised at Atletico Madrid by the fans and anyone with a semblance of a heart will hope that this move does bring the best out of Torres.
He seems well chuffed with the move too.
At last back home. Thanks to all that have made this dream come true.
