If we get out of the group stages that is.
French police have announced that a 24-hour alcohol ban will be in effect for every game taking place in Lens, one of the host cities, during Euro 2016.
Uefa this evening confirmed that the ban will be in effect for all matches in the city, where three games will take place in the Stade Bollaert-Delelis during the group stages, including the clash between England and Wales on 21 June.

While Ireland will not play any games in Lens during the group stages, there is a possibility Martin O’Neill’s men will play there in the round of 16, when the winner of Group D will meet a team finishing in third place from Pools B, F or Ireland’s group, Group E.
While the 24-hour alcohol ban is in place, alcohol will only be allowed in the fan zone in Lens and police have announced that they’ll conduct searches on cars entering the city.
Whether Ireland will end up playing in Lens remains to be seen, but if we do, fans can’t say they weren’t warned.
