Further Twitter reaction to agonising All Blacks defeat

It was a case of so, so close for Ireland today, but ultimately defeat was yet again our lot against the best side in the world.

When the dust settles, Joe Schmidt will take great heart from the performance in light of last week’s display against the Wallabies, but as every player, pundit and fan alike has alluded to post match, moral victories are a thing of the past for Irish teams. It was the closest they have come to victory over the All Blacks in 27 games and there will be plenty of “what ifs?” in light of the dramatic conclusion, and here is how some well-known figures reacted to today’s result.
