The sporting community in Ireland and beyond is still coming to terms with the loss of Munster Rugby head coach Anthony Foley, who passed away in Paris on Saturday night.
Just 42 years of old, news of Foley’s death came as a massive shock when it emerged on Sunday afternoon and a man who was a giant of rugby in Munster and Ireland has been the subject of tributes from around the world since.
Ronan O’Gara, a former teammate of Foley’s with Munster and Ireland and part of the management team with a Racing 92 side that was due to face Munster in the Champions Cup before the game was postponed, posted a tribute to his friend late on Sunday night.
It was clear O'Gara was still overwhelmed by the magnitude of a seismic loss, but he still managed to pen a brief, eloquent and beautiful tribute to "an incredible man".
