Yeah, it's a bit of a fad at the minute...
He's had a summer to forget after being found guilty in his tax trial and losing the Copa America final with Argentina.
Perhaps this is why he's decided to change his look, new season; new me and all that malarky and followed the lead of the likes of Phil Jones and Aaron Ramsey (pictured above).
The picture was snapped by his wife earlier and will take some getting used to.
It's a long cry from the long hair of his early career that's for sure...
